Foley Equipment Hosts Invasive Tree Demonstrations →

Foley Equipment recently hosted several invasive tree demonstrations to give Kansas and Missouri customers a unique opportunity to try out Cat machines and various attachments. Attendees observed techniques for clearing pasture and brush, as well as cutting and mulching. Afterward, customers test drove machines like new D3 series Cat skid steer loaders and compact track loaders. The Oregon Logging Conference will return for an in-person gathering after the COVID-19 pandemic canceled last year's live event. Palfinger has extended its Epsilon range of timber grapples with an adapted product: the existing FG53S grapple has been equipped with additional features and launched as the FG53S-V. Together with Scandinavian customers, EPSILON has taken a closer look at its requirements and optimized the grapple to make sorting work even more efficient. Bad Berka is a small health resort in the German region of Thuringia. Here we meet Sandra Eule, one of very few Wood-Mizer female contract sawmills in Germany. In 2004, her father started his own business as a contract sawmill with a Wood-Mizer LT40 mobile sawmill. When he got sick, the family discussed an idea to sell the sawmill. The Port Hawkesbury mill site has a long history of positive contribution to the eastern region of Nova Scotia. The mill was first developed in 1962 as a sulfite pulp mill and expanded into manufacturing newsprint and pulp for the next three decades.
